    di Mossa and special guest artists shared insights about their creative process and the themes of their work, and invited audiences in through conversation and post-showing reflection.

  • Breaking Through

    April 2022

    An important commission from Belmont University premiering at the brand new
    Fisher Center for the Performing Arts.

    The piece was a true collaboration between the professional dancers of di Mossa and four dance minors from Belmont. The dancers take a path through uncertainty and resistance to that final release and moment of joy that comes with a personal break through.

  • Kindling Arts Festival #4

    August 2021

    This live performance came out of a film project when we were all at home - dancing together virtually. The dancers contributed movement inspired by their own experiences of living through a time with so much uncertainty and anxiety about our public lives.

    Available on Vimeo, our dance film premiered June 2021 alongside other Nashville area artists’ work as part of a virtual screening event organized by Amanda Reichert. “In Place” was remotely created, danced, and filmed from each of our respective dwellings.
